POSTSCRIPT We can accept most postscript files. Our sign-making program utilizes a Level 3 Postscript Interpreter and is able to open most .eps formats.
VECTOR Files must be vectorized in order for us to utilize them for vinyl cut signage. This means that all fonts must be converted to outlines or paths (depending on the program the file was created in).
Here are the vector graphic file types we can accept: Adobe Illustrator (.ai) up to version 11; CorelDraw (.cdr) up to version 11; AutoCad (.dxf,.dwg). Other files may also be accepted; contact our graphics department to be certain we can import your vector file.
BITMAPS
We can import a variety of bitmap images including: JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, Mac PICT, Adobe Photoshop (.psd), Corel Photo Paint (.cpt), Kodak Photo Disc (.pcd), and Targa (.tga). Files we will not accept are low resolution JPEG and GIF. These file formats are normally utilized in Website production and will not reproduce well in vinyl-sign making or digital printing.
When providing us with a bitmap image for litho printed items, (i.e., business cards) the file must be saved as a CMYK and have a resolution of not less than 300 dpi at actual output size. For digital printed items, (i.e., banners) the resolution should be not less than 150 dpi. Both RGB or CMYK will be accepted. Re-sampling the image to a higher resolution will not render acceptable results.
For files smaller than 5 MB, attach them to your email and send it to our art departments email art@signsatonce.com. For files larger than 5 MB, use the FTP file attachment below. Maximum file(s) size that can be uploaded at one time is 100 MB. You will need to contact us first to obtain a client password. P>
To attach a file, click the browse button on the attachments box. Browse through your harddrive's directories until you come to the location of your file. Click on the file then click the open button. Once you have attached your files click on the upload files button below. We recommend that if you are using dialup that you send files larger than 10 MB one at a time. Compressing large files with WinZip or StuffIt will speed up the upload process.
